NBR: Why won't guys just go to the dr?

I got a call from my mom yesterday...she and my dad were at the hospital because he had some chest pains and numbness.  He ended up having a bypass yesterday and is recovering well.  Evidently, though, my dad hadn't been feeling well for a week and kept telling my mom not to worry, he'd be fine.  The man has a history of heart problems and has heart arrhythmia that was diagnosed almost 8 years ago, so you would think that he would be concerned concerning heart problems!  Silly dad. I'm thinking about giving him a swift kick in the arse when he is in the all clear!

Glad he did end up going in, and things were caught. Prayers for a speedy recovery!

I think some of these men like to think that deep down, they are really superheroes, and they can beat anything.  Seriously!  It's like some ancient show of their former caveman selves to show any sign of weakness, like going to the doctor.  Silly boy men.

That's a relief that he went in and is recovering well!   I would be frustrated if he was my dad too!
