my back is going to snap in two!! For the last week I feel like my upper back is going to snap in two. Nothing helps. Anyone else feeling this way?

My middle and lower back are killing me and at night my hips start hurting.  All I keep thinking is that it's too early for this.  I have just been making dh use the massager on me.  Hope you find some relief soon!

I'm also prone to back pain, but mine is down low, near my tailbone. I actually made a post about it yesterday over on the September 2011 board. Just to share about what had helped me during my last pregnancy. If you'd like to see, here's the link to the post. Like I said, my pain is down low, but it's all in the back, so maybe it could help you, too.

(Also, I just thought of this. When I was pregnant with my first, although my chest did continue to grow and get heavier, I never got around to investing in a new good bra.  And I often had upper back -and even, like, sternum - pain/aches. Don't know if that could be affecting your back, too or not.)

whenever i have back or neck pain I use a hot pack on my back. It helps to relax the muscles. Also you may want to think on some physical therapy, it can help.

Oh...I posted about this last week. My middle back on the left side closer to my spine has been killing me for 2 weeks now. I mentioned it to my doc on Thursday because the only thing that helps is a heating pad (2 extra strength tylenol are just wasted on me...they do nothing!). She's actually testing to make sure it's not a kidney infection. I dont think it is, but my goodness! The pain!!! Nothing truly helps! Someone did mention getting those adhesive back patches, though, so I'm going to pick some up tomorrow.
