I had an ultrasound at 13 weeks 6 days, and the sonographer said he thought is was a boy, and he showed me the bulge between the legs. Then he turned on the heat sensor to make sure what he was seeing wasn't the umbilical cord, and it wasn't. And after a few more minutes of him checking various angles, he said, yeah, I would be very surprised if he wasn't a boy.
Naturally, we are very excited since we have two sweet little girls already, but I am trying very hard not to get my hopes up too high. I am still saying, if the baby is a boy, etc. However, I cannot stop googling everything under the sun on accuracy of gender determination at that gestational age. I need to stop it!!
Either way, we just want a healthy baby, and another little girl would be wonderful, but a little boy would be so much fun!
I know this gets asked a lot, but if you had an ultrasound at 14 weeks and the tech told you the potential sex, was it right?
