if they are in the same room, did you get a matching crib or something different?  We haven't made the switch for DS to a big boy bed yet and we aren't sure when that will happen so we may be getting another crib.

I would match.

We ended up getting a toddler bed for DS and giving DD the crib. We made sure we got the same color wood so everything matches. Since DS is still bedsharing with us, we're waiting to use the toddler bed. We've tried to move him a few times but have had limited success thus far.

We will probably get a matching one, especially if #2 is another boy.  If it's a girl, I would be okay with getting a crib with similar lines (and in the same color) but not necessarily the same exact model.

We have matching cribs.... but only because my friend has 2 year old twins and sold us their matching cribs for cheap. If my friend didnt sell us hers, they would not have been matching. DD has a Jenny Lind crib that was given to us and I have never really liked so I was not going to buy another.
