NBR: Cupcake Quandry (Clicky)

I'm making cupcakes for my BFF's surprise birthday party tomorrow - these will also serve as the birthday cake.  The numbers I've been given are 31 Adults and 10 Kids

I've made 29 Triple Chocolate Cupcakes which have a chocolate cupcake, chocolate fudge filling, whipped chocolate frosting and even chocolate sprinkles (the birthday girl is a pg chocoholic.)

I'm also doing Cupcake Fondue.  I've made 72 mini pound cake cupcakes that can be dipped in either chocolate ganache or orange flavored white icing.  There will also be heath bits, macadamia nuts, pecans, toasted coconut, and sprinkle to top them with.

The dinner is going to be a full fried chicken dinner with all of the fixings - so a pretty heavy dinner.

    I think for the party you have enough and that's what I voted.  Howevahhhh.....you could sure send some of those death by chocolate cupcakes my way!  haha Stick out tongue

    I forgot to vote I was so excited by the thought of Cupcake Fondue.

    ETA: I voted for more mini cupcakes b/c I am a pig.

    i think as long as you have enough cupcakes for each kid (which you do) then you are fine. I doubt every adult will want a huge chocolate cupcake.

    if you have any leftovers, you can send them to me.

    I voted that you should make more triple chocolate cupcakes so that there is at least one for every adult but I am one of those people who is always worried that I don't have enough food so maybe don't listen to me. Embarrassed

    I think you're fine or you could make a batch of kiddie friendly cupcakes (funfetti, banana split, etc..) for the kids that are going to be there.

    Although realistically you have already made plenty of food, I voted for making more cupcakes.  I wouldnt be able to sleep thinking I might not have enough.  Go with your gut, you know the people that will be there.
