Lowe's build and grow

Has anyone taken LO to the free kids' building workshop at Lowe's?  Their website says recommended age is 1st-5th grade.  But DS is pretty adept with his tools and DH would be there to help him.  Do you think 3 is too young?

    IDK, but if he ends up going, tell us about it!  I want DH to take C to make the birdhouse in April.  :)

    Will do!  This weekend's project looks kind of silly for DS but I think he would like the pinball one that's next.  DH and DS need some Sat morning bonding because, frankly, I need a break!  :-)  I think they will probably try it.  Worse case scenario....DH lets him sit on the lawnmowers all morning.  He would be in his glory!

    LOL - Cecelia loves going to Lowes with DH.  He taught her to call it "The Man Store."  Sexist, I know, but it's pretty funny to hear her say it.  I hope they have fun and it works out well!
