Seeing "How you met" post just got me thinking. I see some of you saw Titanic with your DH when you were dating. What was the first movie you saw with your soon to be DH?
However, I very distinctly remember walking through the mall with a friend and noticing a ?coming Soon on DVD? poster for some movie we?d seen previews for.I had never had a (serious) relationship last from preview to theatres to DVD release before. And then came the sequels!Totally blew me away!
Our first date was dinner and a movie. We went and saw Scary Movie. There's nothing like watching someone die from getting a pen!s jammed in their ear to make a date memorable!

Shawshank redemption. It was the night before our scheduled First Date. :P We both realized that we talked on the phone for an hour before we realized that we didn't have anything planned for that night so I came over and watched a movie with him. Most of the movie was us trying to hold hands, trying to maybe lean in for a kiss but his cat was always in the way! Needless to say... the movie was very long and we didn't really watch it because we were stealing glances at each other and silently flirting.
Our was "Master and Commander" on our first date. That's the one with Russell Crowe... I remember a bunch of British guys on a boat, and not much else.
The first movie we watched together was the dvd of Vanilla Sky. I don't remember much about the movie, but that's because we weren't watching much of it
On our first date we saw 'A walk to remember' I never read the book so I didn't know it was going to be a tear jerker. I was sobbing and felt like a complete idiot lol

I think it was one of the Star Wars movies that had just been released. I just remember Yoda.

We did dinner and movie for our first date. It was the first time I'd ever agreed to a movie on a first date. I used to prefer not to because you can't talk and it can be awkward sitting so close, if you are not into it. Anyway, it was only 4 years ago and I can't remember the name of the movie. I do remember the movie, itself, and it was called "The Last ..... something." It was more of a family movie, but it was kinda cute.
ETA: I'm updating b/c I think this is funny. I asked my husband if he remember the name of the movie and he knew it immediately: The Last Mimsy. haha He remembered and I couldn't.

The night DH asked me out, we had been hanging out at a mutual friend's house watching "The Ladies Man." DH made his move by slipping his hand on my knee. Whoo wee to be 20 again! We still like to lisp the question, "Do you wanna a fish sammish?" to each other : )

Big Daddy, our first dinner/movie date alone. DH recently pointed out that he hopes DD arrives on June 26 (I'm due June 30). When I asked why the 26th, he pointed out that was the date we saw this movie. Now I'm wondering how he can remember this but can't remember to take out the trash?
