grooming down under maybe TMI for some

So this evening I just realized that I can't see myself down there. I could have sworn it was just last week I was able to bend over and at least see half of my area. Now tonight, I can't see anything - I know most of us girls are in this position by now... if not close to it. I was wondering, how are you guys grooming or are you at all? Do I purchase a mirror for the shower? Suggestions, advice anyone..

I've been using a trimmer and kind of keeping things neatish, but not really shaving. Too scary when I can't see a thing! DH doesn't seem to care, and no one else will be seeing it until my 37 week internal!

good post i was thinking about this a few days ago when i noticed i couldnt see! so i sat down in the tub and shaved it took me an hr usually i get a brazilian but cant now... so anyways i shaved and the other night my husband said to me what happened?? you missed like ten spots hahahahah what is everyone doing for labor?? i might just get a mirror and sit flat in my bedroom on a towel and shave while im looking in mirror!

i use a mirror to wax - but i've told my best friend she may have to wax down there for me a week or so before my due date - so i know i haven't missed anything! lol

just tried to trim with scissors.  it was kind of harrowing.  next time i'll definitely use a mirror.

I fumble around and then swear when I cut myself. I'm guessing it's a hot mess down there, I can't really see though!

I trimmed last night with a mirror and it was still hard! And to be honest it was kinda scary down there!

I just experienced this the other day, that I officially could not see a thing! So I just trimmed infront of a mirror and decided I will wait closer to my due date to go get a nice waxing. For now, its like, who am I trying to impress!

I'm going by feel right now but I was thinking that a small mirror might help the cause. If I try to get DH's help he'll think that I want to have sex, when all I really want to not have a jacked-up shave job.

I use a trimmer and just keep it short all over, then I shave along the sides along my bikini line.  I don't shave off much--just the strays so I can pretty much just go by feel and it doesn't end up looking uneven.

This is what I do as well.  It's getting pretty bad though because I'm getting uncomfortable even using the trimmer.

I got my first french bikini wax (to chicken to go with a full brazillian). So they take a lot off the sides and top. Then i take an electric trimmer to the rest and do it by feel. I already know i didn't trim the left side good just be feel. I will probably get a small mirror so i can see what I'm trimming. I will keep up with the waxes every 5 weeks so my skin can get used to it.

I don't need to see it to shave it. Just feel around. I've been doing it forever "blindly". I don't put my contacts in to shower normally and obviously don't wear my glasses in there...and my eyes are bad. You know where it is, you know where you need to shave...believe me, it's not that hard!

I trimmed in the beginning then went back to waxing, actually have an appointment for a brazillian tomorrow at 11:00am.  I need to strategically plan my next one, because I'd like it as close to my due date as possible.

I shave by feel.  It hasn't been that difficult.  The first time I did it I missed a few spots and I had to go back and get the left over (after DH said something).

This is what I do, too. I cut myself w/the trimmer this morning though and that sucked. Next time, I'll use a mirror for the trimming.

I've been going by feel too. And definitely not as often as before! Oh and I was all bare before but I've given up on that for now. Too dangerous haha.

My husband made a  joke about me "shaving by braille", and its pretty accurate. I do it by feel.

 This. Aside from the front, I've been blind shaving for years. Super fast and easy once you're used to it.

I stood in the bathtub and had a mirror in one hand and the razor in the other last weekend trying to make myself presentable enough to wear a bathing suit to the beach. It wasn't easy! I can see a little bit of my bikini line if I look around my belly, but just barely.

This.  Like another PP said, I also used a trimmer (as I let things go when I couldn't see anymore), but now I am keeping it in check by feel.  Part of me doesn't really care just for appearence, but (totally TMI, sorry!!!!) all I could smell was pee as I was peeing alllllll the time, and I don't know if wiping, etc. it was making it smell.  It may have totally been my imagination and my overly strong sense of smell right now, but it was just too much.  I think trimming it helped, but it might have been the placebo effect!

This.  Tomorrow my friend invited me to go swimming...have to admit I'm a little self conscious of something showing out of my bathing suit...maybe I'll have to bring a mirror in the shower to just check that it's not visible hahaha!
