Experience with dwarfism?

I'm 32 weeks and my baby's long bones (arms and legs) are five weeks behind his age. Also, he has an enlargement on the right side of his heart that has me going in for echocardiograms. The doctor's aren't saying definitively that it's dwarfism, but that's the way they are leaning. Anyone out there been through this? Rhizomelic dwarfism is the kind they think it is (upper bones are the short ones). Part of me is still hoping that he'll just end up being short statured but they may not know until he's born. The wait is killing me. Can anyone relate?
