How much miralax do you give? I am trying to figure out a dose for DD.

    Well we started him out at a very small amount like 1/4tsp and now we are up to 1/2- full capful because over time the smaller amounts just stopped working. The thing about miralax is that they cant "overdose" on it, if anything it will just make their stools too loose. Most recently our GI actually told us to give him like 3/4 to a full capful until he was at the point of having almost diarrhea consistency poops to get him cleaned out since he has been regularly constipated then to back off and go down until you find the magic amount to keep him from being constipated. DS is 13lbs and is eating table foods and what not and we are doing about 1/2 capful daily and might actually cut back just a TINY bit. HTH!
