Bananas!!! *Updated PIP*

Woo-hoo, I finally got my girls to eat bananas today!  They will eat banana baby food like nobody's business, but chunks of real banana were a no go - see my siggy.

My mom suggested breaking up a banana into pieces instead of cutting it - which made it slimy.  It worked!  Oh, and they only like Chiquita Bananas - not Dole or Delmonte, which I can see - Chiquita are the best IMO Wink

  • I'm glad they are eating them now.  DS has a nanner for breakfast every day!  (I'm also gald they DIDN'T like them at first - I love the banana fail picture!)

Thanks!  It's kind of a big deal around here, because they refuse to eat 'real' food.  If it's not a puff, or puffed rice - they want nothing to do with it.  They were on the fence about green beans the other night, so I'll have to try them out again.  They're just so darn picky with textures!

All in due time :)  They're so precious....don't you just give them whatever they want anyway?  haha j/k  My son would eat nothing but fruit if we didn't force him to eat other stuff!

  • Funny - my girls HATE banana too!

Today I tried again, but with a firm banana and I cut the pieces so they wouldn't be very slimy.  THAT they ate!  As the banana got warmer from their hand, they wanted nothing to do with it.

    heheheheh
