bag question

Hi,

I know there have been many. many, questions about diaper bags....and here's another one ...sorry.

How much stuff do you carry in your diaper bag?  Do you use more than one bag?  What about bottles and snacks?

Right now I have a 16 month old and I use one bag for diapers, wipes, change of clothes, toys and I can usually fit snacks and sippys in it.  If not, i bring a small lunch bag.  When my lo is born my son will be 21 months....I can't imagine fitting it all in one bag....more diapers, bottles, formula(I used the liquid last time), bibs, wipes and more clothes.

I am not there yet, but I think it depends on where you are going.   If I am going out for an hour or two I just throw a diaper in my purse and I have a small thing of wipes at this point.  DD is 19 months.  I always have snacks and water in my car if we need it.  I will go back to a small diaper bag with DC#2 to start with formula and such again but second time around, I realize I didn't need to have that much in a diaper bag.

I use one bag for everything.  I have the Snuggle Baby Tote from eBags - I'd link to it but they discontinued it.  It's ginormous and has enough room for everything we pack, including:

Diapers for each girl (at least three and up to six depending on how long we are out for) - also, we use cloth so they take up more space.

A change of clothes for each child.

Wipes (cloth, so again they take up more space)

A wet bag for dirties.

A couple of blankets (receiving in the summer, fleece in winter)

DD1's sippy cup and some snacks for her.

I can also fit my wallet, keys and camera in there.
