If you did or will do 3d/4d ultrasound...

What week did you go or will you go? My 3d/4d place recommends between 28 and 34 weeks so I'm trying to decide when I should schedule my appointment. [Poll]

I selected before 28 weeks, but we're actually doing two. We bought a package that was for two sessions. We did the first at 26w4d and we will do the second one between 33-34 weeks.

I hit before 28wks but it was very close to that...27.5wks

One of my clients is a 3d tech and she said to me If I was to get it done try and do it before 32 weeks as the more room the baby takes up in the womb the pictures are of lesser quality, she reccomended between 26-29 weeks as the best time to get them done.

Id love to go see her to get them done but money is tight and I kind of want to keep the babies facial features as a surprise

Our u/s place just upgraded their equipment and did it at our 20 week and yesterday at an u/s to check her size.  She was definitely chubbier yesterday, but not as much moving around since it's tighter in there already.  Just food for thought.  Good luck and enjoy the peek at your LO.  I didn't do it with DS but really enjoyed the experience this time.

Good to know! I was planning on going at 32 weeks but I think I will make the appointment for 30 weeks! Thanks!

I did mine just today!  She was perfect.  The tech said I had a lot of fluid (amniotic) so the pictures were coming out super clear.  The thing is doing it later in the pregnancy is that there's not a ton of room once they start getting bigger, so the pictures aren't quite as "entire" as you would like.  So says the guy at the 4D place.
