and then updated to a big girl/boy room, what did you do with the space where the glider was?
I'm thinking ahead to if we have another baby. Nora's room currently has a glider and ottoman that occupy a pretty big corner space. If we have another, I'd like to move the glider from her room to the new nursery. What could I put in that corner? Some sort of more grown-up seating where we can still read stories together?
Any suggestions?
Here's the room - there's usually an ottoman in front of the glider.
Re: Moms of 2 or more - if you had a glider in your nursery...
Toy chest?
However, depending on how old she is when you get pg again you may want a glider in each bedroom. We were lucky to have two when both children came to us. Even if you don't rock to sleep, we still rock to calm down for bed. :-)

We went through this exact situation. I remember being so worried Jack would careabout the glider and be upset if it was for Sawyer since we used it so often.
We bought him this, and seriously love it. The boys play on it every single day and have napped on it several times. I like it much better than the PBK anywhere chair.

I also think PP had some great suggestions.
Our glider/ottoman is in the 2nd floor loft, so our situation doesn't really apply; however, I do love your idea of creating a more grown-up cuddle/reading nook.
