RAZberry Teethers

How do you feel about the ones that are like paci's?

Do you use them? Are they safe?

I am wanting to go to BRU this weekend and get some teething rings to chill and maybe some paci's that will help. Our poor girls are hurting.

Recommendations please!

Re: RAZberry Teethers

  • My DDs weren't fan of the Raz teething pacis when they were actually teething but one DD seemed to really like it after the teething phase....

Something that really helped when they were little and teething were those mesh baby feeders (got mine at BRU) that you put in a chilled piece of fruit or anything you want and the baby sucks and chews on it (but can't choke b/c of the mesh netting). These were a huge hit!!

Another teething toy they liked was a Dora the Explorer teething keys--the keys could be put in the fridge or freezer and they'd bite on the ring while playing with the toy.

  • You might try the Sophie Le Giraffe teether. I saw it being bragged about on here, but was a bit skeptical of spending $20 on essentially what looks like a dog toy, but my girls loved her! It was the only teether that they liked. They still nom on her at 11 months old.

  • Never tried those, but my kids had/have these vibrating star teethers.  It's a yellow star on a blue handle, I can't think of the brand, and when they bite down on them they vibrate.  They would be just screaming and you'd pop one of those in their mouth and they would get instantly quiet and just sit there chewing on it for a long time.
  • I never had an issue with the safety of the razberry paci things- but the girls didn't like them.

Sophie is a huge hit in our house- they each have one and we never make a move without her.

Also the mesh bags for cold fruit.

I haven't tried the vibrating star thing- but that sounds neat.

This exactly. DD loved this teether! And when the teething was done, she just LOVED playing with it!!

  • Eh, they didn't like them at first - but they will chew on them now.  I think they like that the raspberry part gets cold in the freezer, but the handle doesn't.  Honestly, their favorite teething thing has been cold, wet washcloths.  IMO, get them a variety of different things, and they'll latch on to something they like.

  • Agreed, I'd get a razberry teether (one of mine likes it, the other doesn't), some of the teethers that vibrate when you bite down on them, and definitely try the mesh feeding bag.  I put frozen blueberries and peas in there, and they munch on it happily.
