LO is 4 weeks and had is 1 month appt he has been fussy since they gave him shots, not eating well etc.
The tylenol package says to ask your dr if under 24 lbs or 2 years. Just wondering if anyone else has given them to their LO yet, cause of course the dr?s office is closed right now.
TIA!
Re: Infant Tylenol when is it ok to give LO
you usually give half a dropper for smaller weights. DD won;t get her first round of shots until her 2mos check up.
edit- will you send me some. Apparently our stores are still not stocking Tylenol since the stupid recall a year ago. Our CVS and Walmart both don't have it. I might have to do a bunch of driving to go find some.
The stores should have the generic version, no? Its just J&J's Tylenol brand that got recalled..
Anyways, to the OP: I'd call the physician b/c apparently there is a study out that giving tylenol before or after vaccines can decrease the effectiveness of the vaccine. So I'd call just to make sure, and get the dosage from them if they agree to it.
