Mikey was following me around this morning saying "hug" and making kissing noises. No matter how many hugs and kisses I gave him, he wouldn't stop.
::melting from the cuteness::
Then he asked for his flashcards and a puzzle... and signed AND said please.
I am so freaking proud,
Re: Total AW post
Why is it that when I read posts like this, I think my child is Ralph Wiggim.
LOL!
That's fantastic!
And I know I shouldn't compare... but I now wish I had done signing or something else because I don't think Aaron knows how to ask for specific things. He just says "on" if he wants the TV on (bad mommy) or "more" for more food.

We never taught him ourselves. It's alllll Gymboree, but he can sign please, thank you, eat and more, so that's pretty good.

That's enough to bring a woman to tears...her sweet baby wanting hugs & kisses. DH always gets more than I do. I think it's because she sees enough of me.
That is awesome! Sooo sweet.
Robyn, "on" is Margaux' go-to word as well. She uses it with or without clarifying signs for "On the chair" "off the chair" "In the car" "In the bath" "I am hungry" "I want to watch a video" and "Read this book to me." At least.
Mikey loves "on" too. "Up" used to be his directional word - he'd use it for up, on, out, in or whatever. Now he relies on "on."

At least Aaron asks you to turn on the TV. Our screen is on a low table so Adrian just goes and pushes the button, little rascal. I have to actually unplug all the devices from the back so he won't break them by turning them on/off all day long, lol! Oh, and he watches tons of Mickey Mouse, so don't feel guilty
