My students have been giving demonstration speeches this week and one of my students this morning did hers on how to make Better Than Sex Cake. I have a piece in the fridge in my office right now . . . yummy! I love demo speech days!
what's in it?? I've never had it but it sounds good!
It is basically a chocolate cake that is topped with a mixture of carmel sauce and sweetend condensed milk, crushed Heath Bars, and finally a layer of cool whip. I think it is also known as "Death By Chocolate."

Prepare 1 box chocolate cake mix as directed. As it is baking, combine 3/4 of a can (I think she had an 8 oz can) of sweetened condensed milk with 3/4 of a jar of Smucker's caramel sauce (they sell it as an ice cream topping). She advised alternately adding spoonfuls of each and blending as you go.
Let the cake cool slightly (10-15 minutes). While it is still warm, poke holes into the cake with butter knife or end of a wooden spoon. Spread the caramel mixture over the cake, letting it soak into the holes. Crush 2 Heath bars and spinkle over the cake. Allow cake to cool completely. Spread cool whip over the top. Coarsely crush one more Heath bar and sprinke over the top.
Sooooo yummy. I prefer to eat it slightly chilled.
