Does anyone have any recommendations on pediatricians in Lexington? We live in Hamburg, so something close to that area is preferable. Specifically, does anyone have any experience with A Caring Touch Pediatrics in Hamburg/Eagle Creek (Drs. Taylor and Bush)? They are on my OB's list of recommended pediatricians, and they take our insurance. Any firsthand experience is much appreciated!

Re: Lexington pediatricians
Working in the medical field I can say that both ACT and PAA are good choices for peds. Some things you may want to consider....
1. PAA is open 364 days a year (closed on Christmas Day) so you can be seen in the office by someone almost every day of the year.
2. There are only 2 peds at ACT (and I Nurse practitioner I think) so you maybe able to see the same doctor everytime as well as get to know the office staff better (and vice versa).
3. The peds at PAA rotate who comes to the East office location so if you want to see a specific person you may have to schedule far in advance or go to main office.
My main advise is that if you haven't already set up an office visit with both practices. You may realize that you prefer one over the other then.

Great info, thanks! I see that ACT does prenatal visits, and PAA has monthly orientations for new parents/patients, so I'm going to do those things and decide from there. Thanks for the comparison of the two practices!

Thanks -- we are going with PAA (Eagle Creek because it's closer to us). We went to an orientation there and were quite pleased with them. Glad you like them as well!
