It seems really late for colic to kick in but I don't know what to think. Since this past Sunday my little girl gets really cranky in the late afternoon and will not go to sleep. The stretches of time have been getting longer and yesterday was the worst. From 2 untill 11 she only fell asleep twice for a half hour each time.
She isn't necessarily screaming the entire time, sometimes she just sits there zoning out. I tried everything to get her to sleep, swing, bouncer, rocking, walking around with her, the crib nothing worked. I tried to feed her more and she took another ounce and that was it. Finally when I wasn't trying anymore and was just holding her while I was on the phone with my husband (who was at work) venting she fell asleep.
It did also seem like her relux was bothering her and she spit up a lot. It was also really bright in our house latly so I wonder if that is overstimulating her.
Am I missing something, is there more I can be trying. Before this week she was the happy smiley one and I am not sure what has change

Sorry, I thought I added an edit, guess it didn't work. She is 8 weeks old.
Colic occurs between 3 weeks and 3 months, so that could be it. I would talk to your pedi though just to make sure its not the reflux. If its refux, meds may help. Have you tried Happiest Baby on the Block?
My girls would scream for hours every night. It was HELL. We tried everything - swaddling, shushing, swinging, bathing, massaging, lights out, lights dim, heartbeat noise, vacuum noise, gas drops, etc. Nothing really seemed to make a difference. Ocassionally, swaddling them and laying them on a blanket in front of the tv turned up loud on the static channel would help. Can you tell we were desperate?
Hang in there. It will get better. Lay them in their cribs and step away for a break when you need to. Step outside and take a deep breath. Remind yourself this is temporary. (((hugs)))
