Unexplained IF?

I guess I'm just wondering where to go from here as far as testing goes.  I'm at the beginning of my second Clomid cycle but am not feeling very hopeful.  The RE originally told me that we'd try Clomid to help me produce more follies, increasing our chances.  Last month (first cycle) I had one follie measuring 25, not multiple follies but they RE did not up my dosage this cycle. Our file says we have "Unexplained Infertility with Fertilization Issues" 

 Here are my "stats"

TTC February 2008 to October 2008
One year forced break due to deployment
Resumed TTC in October 2009
May 2010: Appt with my PCM to seek a referral for IF.
Was told we had to try for 12 consecutive months. In the Army? Yeah, okay...
June 2010 u/s revealed left ovarian cyst
Followup u/s in Aug: Normal
2 Sep Urology Appointment-- Numbers are great. No MFI
First RE appt (finally!) on 20 September: All appears normal
29 October HSG-- Showed possible fibroid or polyp
Hysteroscopy 1/25/11-- all clear!
50 mg Clomid CD 3-7 beginning on 2/18
Currently on Clomid Cycle #2

 Isn't it odd that my RE has never done CD3 or 7DPO blood work on me? I've brought it up at almost every appointment (since I see a different doc or nurse each time on post) and I've received several different responses.  Everything I've read on IF says that these blood tests are part of a routine IF workup.
I don't even know to how about demanding that I have this blood work done since I'm being seen by Army doctors at an Army hospital.

I would definitely demand a cd3 work up.  I did 2 rounds of Clomid before I have the b/w though, but that was with my gyno.  The first thing my RE did when I met with her was the b/w.  Good luck!

We are Unexplained IF, as well.  As you'll see in my siggy, we have been trying for 17 months and are in our eval cycle on 50mg of clomid and next cycle we will be doing an IUI.  I would demand bloodwork on CD3 and 7dpo.  Also, are you getting a CD3 u/s to make sure you don't have any cysts prior to starting clomid?  If not, I'd ask for that too   IF sucks and I could only imagine having a DH who was in the army....GL to you!

You had a hysteroscopy but not a Hysterosalpingogram (HSG)? HSG checks to make sure that you do not have a blockage in your fallopian tubes. HSG and Blood work need to be checked!

Other things you can ask for are a laparoscopy and an etegrity test. Although not all RE do either of those things...

I had an HSG and then a hysteroscopy after the HSG showed a possible small polyp.

 This exactly...I had to have these tests run for two consecutive months before even starting on Clomid...loads of luck to you!

The last nurse I talked to said they only run the CD3 and 7DPO blood tests on women over 30, which is total b.s. but leave it up to an Army hospital!

I had my cd3 b/w last year when I was 25.

I know, their reasoning is b.s.!  I have my follie check on Friday and I am going to talk to them AGAIN and request AGAIN that I get this blood work done. I will be highly upset if I went through the painful HSG  and not so pleasant hysteroscopy plus two clomid cycles only to find out that one of my hormones is a little off.
