I tried FuzziBunz first and really wanted to love them. I felt like I'd be able to adjust them more because of the elastic and stuff but found that the bumgenius diapers worked much better. If I were you I'd get BG and do 3 aplix and 3 snaps. We love the snaps but the aplix is more highly adjustable. Plus, now with BG's more adjustable rise I'd go for that. You can't adjust the rise on FB.
At first, I would have said Fuzzi Bunz. However, after having both for several months my hands down fav is BG...with the snaps. I didn't like the aplix, it always tangled everything together in the wash even though I
did close the laundry tabs. I haven't had a single problem with fit or
leaks using snaps.
The BG snaps hold up great in the wash and I like how they aren't as "complicated" as the FB. The FB elastic curls up and comes out of the leg holes and I'm always shoving it back in there after the wash. Also, BGs are easier to snap. I will say that I do like the inside feel of the fleece of the FB better, but it just isn't worth all of the other annoying stuff IMO.

Thanks! I was leaning towards BG, and now I know I will go that way. I will get 6 in snaps and 6 in aplix and determine from there what to get more in (snaps or aplix). I have one BG (it's the 3.0 OS) and I used it for the first time yesterday and loved it!
I find it pretty hard to align all of the snaps on the FB, but love the stacked design of the BG snaps. If I could do it over, I would go back and get all snaps, but only in BG. They are much better looking than my velcro diapers and they are pretty easy to get a good fit with.
As far as fb vs. bg, I hate my 4 Fuzzibunz. They were only $3 ea. on Amazon, so I am not that upset about them. The elastic was a PITA to adjust and then readjust once I discovered the sizing was off for us. I have 2 where the elastic comes out of the hideaway spot everytime that we wash and it sucks to try and stuff it back in. I hate the microfleece, I can't describe why but in general the unevenness of microfleece irrationally irritates me. Plus, across the back of the diaper where the pocket opening is, there is a lot of excess microfleece, so I always have to check the back before I button up his onesie again which is something that I never had to do with BGs. The inserts are also tiny compared to my BG ones, but for some reason FB always seems much bulkier and kind of droops off his bum.
That is all that I can think of right now, Can you tell that I reallly don't like my Fuzzibunzs?

I am also a BG fan:) I love the FB PS, but the OS were awful for us. I really thought I would love them, too. Our little guy is long and skinny, so I prefer aplix for him to get a tight enough fit. I do see the aplix already getting fuzzy, though.
Babywearing, cloth diapering, formula and breastmilk feeding, still can't believe I'm a mom, momma to my little man, two furbabies, and two angel babies.
I prefer BG. I use OS and PS FB occasionally, but I find DD tends to leak out of them no matter what I do - increase absorbency or adjust fit. They used to work just fine for her, but lately they've just been leaking more often than not. I only have snaps on my BGs but I have a mix of aplix and snaps in my overall stash.
I don't like how FB OS has no way to adjust the rise. Plus, if I have a OS diaper, I'd like to be able to use it for DD or DS and FB OS are a PITA to adjust with the elastic. I really like my OS BG, but my favorites right now are my PS FB. I just ordered 3 more. My favorite OS in my stash is my Tots Bots. It's super trim.

Hey, you're local!
The medala badge is against the bump's TOU and should probably be removed from your siggy.
I could never get FB to fit correctly on my dd, but some people swear by them. I'd get a mixture and see what you like.

Ditto.
