Hey ladies!
Hubby and I are going this evening to register for our little boy!! We are really excited but I just had one question that I thought you ladies could possibly help with.
I know BRU will give us a list of recommended essentials, but I was just wondering if there was anything that wasn't on any of "the lists" that you ended up needing after baby arrived that you never would've thought about.
Thanks in advance!
Re: Registry Essentials
I second PP- Baby Bargains is a must. That said, I'd say www.lucieslist.com is even more 'basic' on the essentials. A quick skim through that will give you a good, general opinion on what you really NEED.

i LOVE this website: www.lucieslist.com
its FABULOUS for registry must haves, and if you join her mailing list she will email you a registry print out. she gives great info.
also has a lot of info about delivery/post partum recovery. check it out you will love it!
Bumpkins 6 mo. bibs--baby food is messy. This bib fits my baby's thicker neck. After baby has eaten, I just wash it off and hang it up to dry. Other cloth bibs if they get messy, you have to wash them in the washing machine.
Elmo toothbrush and Baby Oragel Tooth and Gum Cleanser
Sesame Street Teether toy-I had this and then took it off--when baby teethes, you will just want a toy that baby can teethe on.
Aden & Anais Swaddle Blankets-I found out about this after baby was born--and I LOVE these blankets--I have Safari Friends and Boys n Toys.
Boogie Wipes (I told myself I would never use this, oh my gosh, I really need these).
Nosefrida (baby does not blow his nose, so it is luxury when baby has runny nose to suck it out).
12 month and 18 month onesies-he likes to spit up, so we have to change him often-by the time they reach that age, it is just not as exciting to go clothes shopping, so it would have been nice to already have them.
Musti Eau de Soin (Mustela) baby cologne--ah great to spray baby after poopy diaper, so baby smells good, and Mommy does not have to give baby a bath.
Baby shoes did not work well with my baby-they kept falling off. So it is good to have 6-12 month socks to keep his feet warm. My inlaws just went to Walmart and got some really good socks that we have used a lot. I finally found some 12-18 month Pedipeds that stay on his feet--and they fit better-my baby has a wider foot.
Sleep sacks - at least 3 in all sizes
cups, bowls, spoons
wipes and diapers - we got a lot of all different sizes and it saved a lot of money
Good luck and have fun!
