Don't know...I only feel it on the opposite side when LO is nursing. He is starting to sleep longer at night so I am back to waking up with drenched shirts and sheets again. I don't feel it when I pump or when I leak in the night.

I used to feel it really strongly, it was very uncomfortable like a pulling, burning, prickling sensation that started from my armpits. It has mostly gone away now so I don't really feel anything which makes nursing a lot more enjoyable since there's less pain/discomfort.

This except that I don't leak much at night (but if/when I do I don't feel it.)
I do, but I didn't start feeling it until probably 6 weeks. It feels like shards of glass being pushed through my boobs.
I feel it on both sides when not nursing, but when nursing I only feel it on the side she isn't on. And I only feel the first let down, though I know I have multiple during a nursing session.

Same here. I didn't feel it at all at first, and now I'm starting to feel it less. I've read that's normal.

yeah, it's loads of fun. luckily it only lasts for 5 seconds at most! i miss the days when i didn't feel it.
Re: Am I the only one...
I didn't feel it for the first 2 months, then started to feel it again, and now I only feel it in the mornings. I NEVER feel it while I'm pumping.
It's not unusual to not feel it though, at least according to kellymom.

I so misread this thread at first. I was thinking, "Let down by what?"
But to answer the question, it's like pins and needles (as pps have described) but I usually only notice it if I'm fairly full or if I'm pumping.
