Update: Doctor appointment today wishes

Had my normal check up today and had some good/bad news.

  Bad news is my blood pressure was elevated again, (140/70..i'm usually like 110/65-70)  Doctor said they'd just keep watching it again, as all my pre-e tests are coming back negative or very low (blood tests were good but I had protein in my urine, but not enough to alarm them)

Good news is I've made progress since last weeks internal!  I was 1cm 50% effaced, this week I am almost 2 and 75% effaced. But when she was checking me she said was taking a minute and then said "thereeee it is" she said my cervix is so soft/floppy she couldn't even find it.  He is a little high still but is definitely lower than last week.  She said when he drops just a little more she expects me to go quickly. 

She did pull me out of work since I when I'm there my BP continues to rise (last week when I was off it was back to normal). 

All and all it was a great appointment.  I'm making progress and no more work for me! YAY!

Sorry to hear about the BP but glad you'll be able to get some needed rest. It's almost time !!

Just got home, I had my first internal--3 cm dialated, 50% effaced, -3 station... my MW seemed to think I have a full two weeks left and shouldn't expect a baby before our due date.

3cm and 50% is a lot to me! Don't get discouraged, you know those internals don't mean anything!
