We bought a simple Combi lightweight stroller over 4 years ago to use with DS and once he outgrew it we allowed a family member to borrow it. WELL they spilled some serious hot fudge/chocolate all over the sun shade/canopy, seat...well it was everywhere. (We had DD last summer and they gave us our stroller back. I was told that there was a spill but it was cleaned up and due to the dark material (and knowing it was a back up stroller) I was fine with it. We drove our 1000 miles back home and when we opened the stroller we noticed the smell.....it STINKS of industrial strength cleaner!! Apparently she used resolve to remove the stains...but the odor is still lingering .... I stored the stroller in our garage for the winter hoping that a miracle would happen, well nothing yet and it still stinks...
Any tips on how to remove the odor from the stroller? The sun shade/canopy & back support are not removable to throw in the washer. TIA for any help or ideas!!!
Re: Stroller cleaning help please
I had used dish soap (Palmolive) & a rag when I first noticed it & was able to wash the actual liner in the washing machine which took care of those parts. Apparently I need to get a good scrub brush and get to work, thanks so much for the help!!
Now if only the winter storm coming our way would change its course so that we could have some sun to dry my stroller!!
