My 4 year old has been an emotional wreck the past week. Just really regressing like flipping out over stupidshit and my usual approach (choice/warning/consequence) is totally not working. I just read on another forum that this is a tough time for kids b/c of the time change? Could it be?
Or is he actually a monster?
Re: Behavior deterioration after the time change?
Could be. . . my DD seemed to be a mess, but it turned out she was sick (had a fever for a day, etc.) so I'm not sure what the real problem was.
Now her only after-effect is that she's sleeping in a little later than usual and I'm not complaining.
Well, maybe that is so. It must be something because my 4 yo daughter is going through the same. j*w* and I were just discussing this on email.

DS has been like that, too. He's waking up in the middle of the night and is up for the day at 5:30-6.
There was also a super-full moon.

The time change def has f'd us all up at my house! DS has been super emotional and having meltdowns...he's finally getting up at the right time again but still won't go to bed on time...I just got him to go to sleep at 9:30...1.5-2 hours past his bedtime...
We're also dealing with allergies...or at least I am...the pollen here is so thick, I'm thinking that may be part of it.
