Big day today - had amnio, anatomy U/s

We had the amnio today - all went well, no problem. It was quick and painless. Before they were able to do the full anatomy screen so I don't need to have one at 20 weeks. Everything looks great - and Sarah will have a little sister!!!

Oh that's great news! Sigh of relief right? I used to always want a boy & girl. Now I'd be happy with 2 girls as well. One of the great things is being able to get some use out of clothing that she seldom wore. I always feel quilty when Sienna only gets to wear an outfit a couple of times.

I am thrilled for two girls. I grew up with an older sister and it was great. Some friends have two girls who are two years apart in age and they play together so well. Also reusing all the clothes - Sarah has so much! Plus, they'll share a room at least for the first few years. I think DH really wanted a boy too but oh well.

Congratulations, I am glad everything went well at your appointment. I wanted a boy after Brigid but having a second girl has been wonderful. Plus, it's true about the clothes, I love seeing my favorite outfits of Brigid's again when I pull them out for Morgan.
