What are your opinions on this because me and dh have opposite views.
We are flying in 2 days. Usually my dad drops us off at the airport but he can't and no one else is around. We have 2 options:
Drive into the airport ourselves and park the car (which my dad will pick up later so it isn't there the whole time we are away) This isn't a bad choice but we are traveling on a busy day and are worried we won't get parking.
or...go to the express bus, park there and take the express bus in. The bus is a 30 minute ride, on the highway and it has no seatbelts.
Dh thinks the express bus would be easier and less stressful. He is not concerned about the no seat belts because he compares it to riding on the school bus. I think it is not a good idea to have them on the bus with no seat belts for the ride to the airport.
What do you think? Has anyone eve taken these kind of buses? Would you do it or not?
Re: Riding a bus with kids and no seat belts?
Me personally....I'm spooked by busses right now.

Yes, a full size bus.
I have looked into a car service and it is much too expensive.

If you are flying out of Logan during the week, Cental Parking will be fine. You can check Massport.com for parking lot statuses that morning. Long term lots are almost always available, but just so you are totally informed...you have to take a shuttlebus without seatbelts to the terminal. IMO, if you think the express bus would be easier, I would do that. The fact that the bus doesn't have seatbelts wouldn't worry me.
We are flying out of logan. My dh was concerned because it says on the website how the day we are flying is one of the busiest days and parking may be difficult (or something to that affect).
Thanks for the opinions on the bus. I guess my biggest concern was that it drives on the highway, further than just around town.
