So our daughter's Godfather is having his second child in less than a month. They are the ones who turned us on to cloth diapering. They are great people, and we're putting together a basket for them for when baby comes. Here's what we have so far:
-I made homemade wipes in a cute owl print with a matching burp cloth.(6 wipes)
- 1 mac n cheese color fuzzibuns OS pocket (they use fuzzibuns exclusively).
- A book called "Babies Don't Eat Pizza" for their daughter- it's about being a big sibling and helping with the baby (she's almost 2).
- A medium snap-handle wetbag.
- We'll be putting the items in a bin that they can use for organization or whatever.
Any ideas of one other small thing we can put in there? We already got him a wooden teething toy that we gave them when they found out it was a boy, so I'd like to steer clear of toys (they have SO many anyways from their daughter).
Thanks in advance!
Re: Any additional items for gift?
Got a wetbag already- I listed it above.
I'll go with CJs! Thank you!!
What about wipes solution? I have a bottle of heiny spray that I love. It has lasted a really long time and is great for being out and about. When Ds poop I can just spray it right on his tush (which always makes him giggle) then wipe using a dry wipe. The one I have is by HH but I'm sure there are a million out there.
Some CJ's samples sounds great too.
What about a spare portable changing pad? I only bought one for myself, and then the first time DS got it dirty while we were out I had a mini panic attack because I didn't have a backup. Fortunately we didn't need it again before we got home, but I wound up making myself a spare for long trips. Of course, now that I have the spare, he never gets the first one dirty :P
