Jillian Check In!!

Hey ladies!  WOW, I have slacked....  Oh, well.  Weekends are the worst for me.  I just want to relax and I shredding is not relaxing!  Well, after I am done I always feel fantastic, but getting up the motivation is not.  So TODAY I am back to it!  L1 today, and hopefullly L2 the rest of the week. 

How are all the shredders out there doing?

  • Not doing so good here. 30DS has been really hard on my left knee. I'm really not sure what to do about it. I want to keep going because I've done so well with the weight loss but I'm worried I'm doing damage to my knee. I think I may try what some of you girls have suggested (modified moves, wearing a brace, and taking aleve or motrin before I shred) this week and if it doesn't get any better then make an appt with my orthopedist next week. I really want to be able to do it and stick with it rather than just doing a day here and there.

  • I made it through D5L1 yesterday (!) with plans to keep going.  Yay!  I was surprised by how sore my legs were after day 2 - Wow! - but it's mostly subsided now.  My only concern is that I have some shoulder issues from an old injury and my chiropractor told me not to do push-ups...Oh well - I'm throwing that advice out the window for now (shhhhhh!) and doing girl pushups.

  • Hi, I just started the 30 day shred last week. I skipped yesterday and was very lazy. I feel like it's going to take me forever to get to level 2. I find level 1 very challenging.
