If you are thinking about asking to join this group?please read: This is an Advanced TTTC group those who have been trying 3+ years and/or have multiple failed IUI?s /IVFs, etc. I just ask that everyone please use good judgment when asking to join...in other words, if you are still in the IUI stage or have been on this journey less than two years, this is probably not the group for you.

There is no doubt that this whole TTTC process is painful, but I also do believe that there is a very special kind of support that this specific group can offer to each other, and it is intended as a "safe haven" for those of us who are in that bottom 1% of the bottom 1%. Thank you!

Update: Nothing 

QOTD: Wow, I totally forgot it was the first day of spring. Doesn't really seem like it since we've been in the high 80s, low 90s for the past month. The weather this weekend was awesome..I got a great tan and DH's games! I'm looking forward to the weather getting [even] warmer (I love me some hot, hot, hot weather) and hopefully getting to go to more AU baseball games.

Update:  Today I am 7dp5dt (beta 3/23) and having a lot of conflicting feelings about this cycle...more on the negative side...no real reason for me to believe it won't work.....maybe it's b/c BFNs are all I am use to, so what makes this any cycle any different? Ugh!

QOTW:  Today - It's raining and in the mid-40's I think.  Looking forward to our cruise in 17 days, flowers/leaves growing and more sunshine!

UPDATE Tomorrow I have an ovary check and a pre-op. THANKS for all the surge vibes! I need to do so by Wednesday or my lap/coculture schedule will be sub-optimal and possibly screwy. I also started seeing an ME and am taking Synthroid to get my TSH levels down.

Update: I haven't updated the check-in since my horrible WTF appointment.  We have decided to take a few months off to regroup.  We plan to cycle again and do PGD in mid-July.

QOTD: It?s the first day of Spring!  What?s the weather like where you are?  What are you looking forward to this Spring? It looks like spring around here.  It's cloudy and a little cold.  We're supposed to get rain a lot of the week.  I am looking forward to being able to exercise outdoors again.  It will be good for both me and the dog!

QOTD: It?s the first day of Spring!  What?s the weather like where you are?  What are you looking forward to this Spring?  The weather here was so crazy today.  This morning it was chilly raining and hailing.  Then it cleared up and ended up getting up to about 70 degrees!  I'm most looking forward to the nice weather and baseball opening day

QOTD: It is gorgeous weather - a little chilly in the morning or shade.  Although I can't seem to get used to getting up in the dark

Update - My iron is really turning around!  My hemaglobin is just under normal limits, and my shape, color, and size aren't quite right. BUT my iron store is up to 135 from 4!  I am now down to every other week for infusions and if things look good on Friday, I'll probably come back in a month. 

I went to the enocrinologist for my 3 month check up - my TSH is down to 1.5 - so half way there   Dr. is concerned about my [ginormous t-word that just means excelled heart rates] - sorry can't remember.  evidently it's a s/e of the synthroid but because i have two heart conditions she wants me to get checked with my cardiologist.  she said definitly a halter monitor (which i've done before, no big deal) but then she asked me if i've ever been cathed.  um no, and i don't plan to be.  not happy by that suggestion.  cross your fingers that my cardiologist doesn't agree!

and my "back" is stil hurting but much better than friday.  thanks for the well wishes ladies

Update on me:  For the first time in all my IVF cycles, I had a 3 day transfer on Sunday morning.  Embryos were not the best quality (they were okay) and they decided since my embies don't like going out to blast in culture that we would put them back in on day three and hope for the best.  We had 1 grade B embryo and 5 grade C embryos and 1 grade d embryo growing... all the rest had arrested.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this works, but I'm having a hard time being positive.  Why can I make so many damn eggs, but have such crappy embryos?  I need some positive vibes and growing embie vibes!

We have a meeting with another adoption agency april 13th, but will most likely go with the first agency we checked out.

I love working in the garden in the spring and beginning to grill outside. Right now it's been rainy and cold, but hoping it warms up in time for my bday (april 3rd)

Update: I'm still stimming :P I'm waiting on my bloodwork to come in to see if I'll need to wait another day to trigger or if i need to do that tonight (my follies aren't quite the size they'd like).  I'm hoping we can do something with the follistim I have left because I don't want to buy more Repronex!  Not sure why my ovaries are being lazy this cycle.

QOTD:  It's cloudy and chilly this morning but it's supposed to get into the upper 60's   But then it's supposed to storm

We're on to IVF. We've been TTC for 6 years now. Wasn't sure what the issues were at first. It's hubby's count, etc. Can't get prego naturally or with IUI. Moving onto IVF and have an appt. in April with new RE.
