Cute lunch check-in will be late, and a computer question

The cute lunch check-in will be late. My fancy new iMac, which crashes all the time, is finally being replaced after a million phonecalls to Apple.

Which leads me to my question: Has anyone ever had this problem with their Mac? I was told that some machines are intolerant of Adobe Flash Player, which is why I'm having kernel panics daily, unresponsive mouse/keyboard and lots of problems getting pages to load. I'm not sure I believe that's the problem, but I don't really care at this point. They did not want to replace my machine because "there's no guarantee the replacement won't do the same thing," but that's not my problem and it seems to be fairly rare (if it's real at all), so hopefully lightning won't strike me twice. Just curious. I'll do my best to get the pics uploaded as soon as I can!
