There is a YMCA on bloomingdale the Valrico end that I know someone that goes there and loves it. There is another one by Nativity Church I can't remember the name of it but i've heard good things about them also.
Yup, the YMCA is a good choice. Also, my community has a pool and I just found out that it's heated and open right now. In the summer, I often took Lily there around 11 am-ish or so, just to get outside. I used to go on Mondays or Thursdays because those are my days off. PM me if you're interested, and we could go together.
(PS, my community's pool is nothing special, just a nice clean pool. No slides, etc.)
Some of the state parks have pool options as well.. I think the park on 301 has a pool that is open for the admission to the park. It's nice to pack a picnic and spend some time.
