Yeah, that's over. I'm getting a divorce! And I am so happy and relieved about it! I wasn't ready six months ago, when I was thrust into making a decision, but now I've had time to come to terms with what I need and want.

Luckily, it's been very amicable so far. It's sad, but he understands.

Thank you all for your support, this has been quite the journey.

My church Mars Hills had the topic of divorce today for the sermon, and it was interesting to here the biblical perspective on it.  However, I kinda believe if you have taken the time to try to work things out, and it is still not working--then it is better to pursue a healthier option for yourself.

I have to say that whatever faith you have divorce at times is a must. And HayHay has gone over and beyond what I would have done if I were her. I give her props a million times over for giving it a second chance. If I were her I would have commited a way worse of a sin than divorce. And no divorce papers would have needed to be signed. So on that note I am sure God has forgiven her.

Thanks Katia, and all of you. I know without the back story, this probably sounds somewhat cavalier. I really do feel at peace with my decision, and I know I've tried everything. I'm ready to move on with my life!

Glad your at peace with your decision. Remember you may still be hurting and going thru stuff so don't hesitate to ask for help or counseling if you need it. Somtimes it takes time to really get over a situation.
