Trying to Get Pregnant

Pom Juice?

Next month DH and I will begin TTC - I have lurked for a while and have seen a few posts regarding POM juice.

Can anyone explain to me when/how much Pom Juice I should be drinking? I thought I read somewhere that you shouldnt drink it during the 2WW.....

Re: Pom Juice?

  • Green tea is a good thing to drink too from CD1 to O.  Good luck!

  • Like Bluenoser said, 1 cup a day from CD 1 to O to strengthen your uterine lining.  I drink 8 oz and usually mix it with a diet sprite or ginger ale because the consistency is a little thick for my liking.  Red Raspberry Leaf is also good for strengthening the lining.

Drink one cup a day from CD1 to O to help increase the uterine lining. It won't help during the 2ww as there isn't any time for it to take effect, so save your money.

I know POM wont help during the 2ww but is it safe to drink during pregnancy? Does anyone know? Sorry for highjacking you post OP.

Yep, I drink the POM and a tea I buy from WF called "Female Toner" that is made with red raspberry leaf - 1 8oz glass of the POM (that I dilute with water) and 2 glasses of the tea from CD1 to O.   I also drink green tea (but always have).

POM's website says it's safe to drink during pregnancy and nursing (with the standard "check with your doctor if you have any concerns" CYA language).
