Pediatrician Rec's Gaithersburg

Anyone have a rec for a ped in Gatihersburg area???

    Dr. Steven Hirsch, www.hirschpediatrics.com is amazing.  He is a solo practioneer, but I've never had any problems with waiting or being able to get in touch with him.  His cell number is on his voicemail and he always calls back immediately if I call with any questions.  His office is also very web saavy with updates on-line, he will email back if you have non-emergency questions, etc.  In fact, we've moved an hour away more than a year ago and we keep going back because I haven't found anyone close to him in Virginia.

    We go to Pediatric & Adolescent Care near Lakeforest. We like the practice - I've always been able to get same-day sick appointments, and we've taken advantage of the Saturday and Sunday hours as well. Recommended to me by a fellow Nestie - thanks Tracy!

    Several families I know go to Potomac Pediatrics as well.

    We go to Dr. Hirsch as well (off nestie recommendations) and both DH and I really like him so far.  He answers ALL our questions with practical answers that put us at ease - like whatever thing we're noticing is totally normal but we're not foolish for not knowing that and asking the question.  We're new at this parenting thing so we definitely have a lot of questions.  I also really like that he's generally helpful, provides lots of handouts and information and brings up relevant topics that we should be thinking about next (like for us, getting into a sleep schedule) in addition to answering your questions. As a bonus, his office is super kid-friendly and fun.
