Were really unsure if we will be done after this baby... Or go for 3. Such a hard decision... We are going to wait until this baby is around 9 months old and decide.

I votes 2 because in a perfect world that is what we would like, but given our history and IF we will be happy with 1 and if we are fortunate enough for 2 then we will be elated!
6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM
7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle!
9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.
I voted "other." I want more badly, but are having IF issues second time around. We have been TTC #2 for 2 yrs. So basically I can't "plan" to have a certain number because I may not be able to.
Content with one right now and praying we can be fortunate enough to get pg with another.
I said 3, but I packed most of maternity clothes away a few weekends ago and couldn't help but wonder if I would ever wear them again. DH's job scenario is so up in the air I just don't know if financially we'd be able to have a 3rd and provide for all 3 the way we want to. We'll see.....emotionally I'm not ready to say we're done at 2.
We planned on having 4 and agreed on 1 more but it took us 6 years to conceive DS2 and literally right away with DD so who knows it might be 3 it might be more than 4. DH and I have talked in the past if money wasn't an issue we would have a few more.
I said 3. I will stop after the next baby, no doubt. But that gives us 5 children between the two of us. I consider his children mine too, and DH does the same. We may look into fostering/adoption. We want a house full. My body may say no, but the system of children needing a loving home beckons us.
No idea. Two is our max, but we're having a hard time deciding if we should go ahead and have a second baby at all right now. Charlie being self-employed makes the whole situation much more difficult. If it was me who was self-employed and Charlie who had the steady job, it would be completely different. I just don't know how comfortable we are with bringing on that added expense, as horribly sad as that sounds. Everyone says you find a way to make it work, but two kids in daycare is pretty expensive. Either one of us staying home isn't an option - neither would be happy doing it.
If we get to August of next year and still haven't decided to go for it, we're just not going to do it at all, because I don't want to have kids that far apart.
Re: How many kids do you plan on having--clicky

We wanted 2 kids, but ended up with 3. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
It's funny how your plans can suddenly change in an instant.
Katie: 1/16/08 2lbs. 15oz.
Abby & Emily: 12/31/10 6lbs. 2oz. & 5lbs. 7oz.
