I am making my own baby food and LO doesn't like the green beans. I tasted them and really they are just blah. What can I spice them up with? So far this and avocado are the only things he doesn't like.
Because he's so young I wouldn't add spices. I'd just mix it with something else. You could do carrots, squash, yogurt, whatever sounds good. I used to mix anything Ds didn't like with peas because Ds loved them.
I'm in the camp that a little pepper never hurts. My kids really like it and were exposed to it (and other spices) at a young age. To this day DD will try and usually like anything.
You could always add a bit to it the next time you try. Remember, it takes up to 20 (I think?) tastes for babies to like something sometimes. So keep trying it, and mixing it into things helps too if they still won't like it with pepper.
