stuck between 2 boy names

We are down to 2 names but can't decide which sounds best.  

Liam or Gavin

Which one do you like better and why?

I prefer Gavin. Both are trendy right now (I know boys younger than 4 years old named each).

Liam. I mostly like it because DF's mn is William and if we have another boy someday we might name him Liam after DF.

Not sure what your last name is, but as long as one name doesnt give him wierd initials I would say either! Both are handsome names i know one Gavin, and he is the cutest..

I actually like both equally. But since I know two baby Liam's and no Gavin's, I'll pick Gavin for sounding a little more refreshing to me.

I like both as well. The only slight edge I will give to Liam is that it does not end in "N" as SO many popular boys' names do these days. Both are nice though.

I prefer Gavin.  Both are nice names, but I've been hearing/seeing a lot of Liam's lately.

Gavin, for some odd reason I hate the name Liam.  I know most people love it though.

Liam is one of my most hated names. I don't understand the appeal at all...so by default Gavin.

LOVE Gavin...not a huge fan of Liam, its cute just not my style
