Haha - I know people think they have this...but I swear I have the only toddler that just RUNS the second his feet touch the ground. Never caring for a second where we are.
Any success with going out to eat? I really want to start going out more - but I don't know if it would be worth it.
Re: Does anyone have a toddler that won't just sit?
YES. My DS never.stops.moving. And he's fast too!
I try to burn his energy before dinnertime, usually at the playground. Then I bring lots of things to distract him and hope for the best. I'd say about 60% of the time one of us is walking laps around the restaurant with him while we're waiting for food to come. lol.
Yep - this is what stopped us from going out to eat when I was pregnant with #2. I wasn't a fan of sitting and eating by myself. At least when we grab take out we can eat together. DD is more than happy to sit with us - I could hold her 24-7 if I wanted to... but DS just wants to go, go, go.
I hope it stops soon. Or I need to find a place where I can just put a little DVD player right on the table playing Toy Story - that would keep him sitting
