Tea Tree Oil

Is diluted tea tree oil safe to use during any trimester of pregnancy?  I've found some things that say go for it.  I've found others that say avoid first and third trimesters.  I've found others that say never at all.

 I am using a diluted tea tree oil antiseptic cream.  It's 5% TTO with aloe, vitamin E, safflower oil, chamomile, comfrey and a few others.  I have this insane rash on my legs and back and this cream is totally giving me relief.  I just want to make sure I'm not doing harm.

 Please help!

My OB had no probem with TTO, and the TTO Dr B's is the only thing that will soothe my itchy legs in the winter.

TTO/ Melaleuca oil is safe for pregnancy, though I would look for something that is certified pure, such as: https://www.iact1.com/doterra/ShoppingCart/Shop.cfm?CurrPage=FrontPage&NextPage=CategoryDetail&CategoryID=78&PageNum=2. This is the brand we use. It is certified pure therapeutic grade oil.

 My Ob's office called me back finally (my ob/gyn is on vacation until next week) and told me TTO is fine.  So much misinformation on the great ol' web.  Who'da ever thunk it!  (HA!)
