Today is my due date...

and I have 7 week olds. I've been dreading this day for a while....not quite sure why. I'm happy that we have healthy boys home with us, but still feel blah about this day. I am looking forward to not having a "negative" adjusted age but still feel a bit sad that we didn't even get close to this date.

Last Monday was DD's due date. I felt kinda weird about the date too! Thinking about her adj. age and all the things that she does...makes me so happy! Yay to positive days!

Congrats on the milestone!  I just posted that yesterday was my due date.  Nice to think I can finally start looking to see what a genuine full term newborn does at this date and looking for the same thing in Kevin (even if he may be a bit delayed).

It's a weird feeling. I remember I had my 6 week PP appt on my due date and brought DD in with me...so surreal! I just kept thinking how I should be there to talk about L&D stuff, not mommy stuff.

This will be me too! When they told me the date to come back I was a little thrown off and couldn't believe it! I think surreal is a wonderful word to describe the whole experience.

My baby was born 15 weeks early. Instead of being sad on her due date we celebrated her 0 birthday with brownies for the NICU staff and everybody sang happy birthday to her.  I wish she had been just arriving but since she didn't, we made the best of it.
