Never been excited to see AF before!

I think this is the first time that I have ever been slightly excited for AF to show up.  I am excited to start this process but extremely nervous that it will not work out.  I will now start clomid on Sunday and have my first u/s on April 1st.  Hopefully everything will look great and we can go through our first IUI in the beginning of April.  For you ladies who have gone through IUI, how many u/s did you have to go through before getting the IUI?  I know it all depends on how you are progressing but I am just trying to figure out an approx amount to tell my principal because I am going to have to come in late.

I went in cd7,  cd9, cd11, cd13 for both IUIs.

For my last IUI I did an ultrasound on CD3 for baseline, CD10 for a follicle check, and CD 12 for another follicle check. This cycle is turning out to be very similar. I would plan for at least two for monitoring follicle size, possibly more if you have a slower response to meds.

Good luck! During my clomid iui cycles I would go in for baseline and then again around cd 12-14 (I took clomid days 5-9). For injects cycles, I go in for baseline and then again after 5 days of injects. I am then told to trigger or to come back - this cycle it will be at least 4 ultrasound before trigger but it has been as few as two including baseline.

I also have had around 3-4 u/s after the baseline.  I believe I had five on my first cycle because I was much slower...they took that into account for IUI #2.  Good luck with the cycle!

with this IUI I had 7 ultrasounds.  my dr was keeping a close eye on me.... but that was me..
