Med Response Question

Good morning ladies! I have a quick question about meds. I did Femara + Menopur last cycle, and at CD10 I had two follicles at 10 and 11. I did the exact same meds and doses this cycle, but today at CD10 I have two follicles that are at 15 and 16, and several smaller follicles on the right that won't catch up in time(which is good since I am doing IUI). Just wondering if a variance in response from cycle to cycle is typical? I know it probably doesn't matter, but it's just more of a curiosity thing. Smile

Re: Med Response Question

  • Yep, i have definitely had varying responses to the same meds at the same doses. My first injects cycle I had just one follie and was ready for iui on cd 14. Last cycle I had 2 follies and was ready for iui on cd 13 on the same dose. This cycle I had 4 follies all at 11 on cd 10 and on cd 12 only 1 had matured (and only to 13) and my e2 had stayed the same, so my stims were doubled. It sounds like this cycle is going really well for you- good luck!!
