She has started rolling over onto her stomach during the night now. How do i stop her from doing it or will this pass as well? You can't use the sleep positioners so i'm at a loss.
yeah, it is pretty much impossible to stop them. I would go in and roll DD back over for about a week, then I got sick of accidentally waking her up. She has been sleeping on her belly ever since.
We've been dealing with this with DD for weeks (and I think DS is starting too). It was AWFUL for about two weeks. DD would roll all night long but every time she got on her belly, she'd scream. We tried wedging her into one end of the crib with rolled towels, and she seemed to like that a little bit but then she figured out she could pick up the towels (she's strong...they were full size bath towels rolled up), so it stopped working. We also tried distracting her with the seahorse and projector on the ceiling. That helped for a night or two until she started bench pressing the seahorse. Finally, in the past week, she's starting to stop rolling so much at night other than to roll onto her tummy to sleep. She sleeps almost exclusively on her tummy now.
All this to say, there's not much you can do except wait it out. It stinks!
DS1 started this at 3 months. Pedi said it was OK as long as he did it on his own. He has been a tummy sleeper ever since.
The same for us too!

When Bridey started rolling, we stopped swaddling both of them. We dealt with weeks of the "reverse turtle" game, where she would roll on her tummy and get mad about it, even though she was fully capable of rolling herself back onto her back. Now she sleeps very happily on her tummy almost all of the time!

Is there are reason you're concerned about her sleeping on her belly?
If not, like PP said, it happens after a certain age and it's fine. When my girls started rolling over and became belly sleepers it was the best sleep they got.
If she'll do it, let her sleep that way. We stopped swaddling and let them sleep on their tummy as soon as they could get themselves there. That was actually about the time they started sttn. They were clearly much more comfortable.

This. My pedi actually asked if they had rolled to sleep on their tummy at their 6 month appointment. It's totally fine.

This exactly. DD is all over her crib now, and usually ends up falling asleep on her tummy.
Both DD and DS roll on their tummies and start crying. When do they actually stop screaming about it and fall back asleep on their tummies?

It took about 3 weeks for DD to stop screaming about it and learn how to fall asleep on her stomach. Those 3 weeks were hellish. Our pedi said we should stop going into flip her over so she'd learn to do it herself and so she wouldn't get lazy about doing it herself, but I couldn't handle the screaming. The regular nightime crying is one thing, but DD had the most ear-piercing screams when she was stuck on her stomach.
