We finally made a list of names, but as of now they are all pretty equal. Is there supposed to be some kind of magical feeling towards a specific name, or do you just randomly pick one? I feel like if we just pick one randomly, then I will keep thinking I am not settled. Thanks!
Re: How to pick a name?
DH and I are decisive people. Once we decide on something, we RARELY change our mind---I guess that is just being stubborn.
The day we found out it was a girl, we went to my parents house and we just talked about names. I shot one of his names down (Sophia) and he shot mine down (Ella). And then I mentioned this name and it just clicked and we both liked the name and the flow of it. Since that night, we haven't considered other names-we hid the baby name books, so that we don't have temptation to rethink this one.
We both love it though; and we have been calling her that since the 20 week appointment. I guess in our case it just "clicks". (Almost like buying the perfect gift for someone--you know what it is when you see it!)
