Jax back in the hospital

Hi girls...

Thought I'd let you all know that I'm back to having to visit my one baby with my other baby for awhile again now. I'm happy that people listened to me and realized there's a major problem, but so sad to be without my little man....it kills me. I brought Jax in to see the g.i. specialist today and I had to leave at the end of the day without him.

?I've never cried so hard in front of strangers in my whole life.?

  • I am so sorry that your sweet little Jax is back in the hospital.  Eventhough he is in the best place for him, it is so hard.  I hope that they help get him settled so he can come home to be with his brother and get big and strong.  You are doing an amazing job.  You have been through so much these last few months.  Keep up the good work momma and try to get some rest while he is in the hospital.  I know that won't be easy but it sounds like you haven't been sleeping much.  Rachel

  • oh sweetie, I am so sorry to hear this, but glad that they are taking you seriously and going to figure out how to help Jax. :( Poor guy, he's been through the ringer, like his mama and daddy have too.
  • Oh, Annie..I am so sorry to hear this.  I can't even imagine how hard it is for you.  I'm sure he is getting the special care he needs. It sounds like they have a good plan for him (I was reading your blog) and I hope that before you know it, he is home with you again.
  • I am so sorry hon! ((HUGS)) Going back to the place you never want to see again is the hardest. I cried more during Cecilia's hospital stay for strep B than I ever did when they were in the NICU. I hope they can help your little guy. You're in my prayers.
  • {{{{HUGS}}}}  I am so sorry. Hopefully they will find out what's wrong and you can take him home soon!

  • I am so sorry for you guys, I know that must be so hard!  But at least now you know they are DOING something for his problem, and hopefully he'll be home VERY soon!
  • OMG, I am soooo sorry to hear this!!!  I cannot imagine how hard this must be for you even though you know he is in the best place.  I think it must be so hard to have him home and then turn around and have to take him back...please know you will be in my thoughts and I hope for a speedy recovery for little Jax.  ((HUGS))
  • My girls each were admnitted back into the hospital on several different occasions after they came home form the NICU - it is so hard - I didn't even know what to do with myself worrying about which ever one was back there. I have to say though once we got through our first year we have been so much healthier and not back in the hospital since - my girls only had 2 colds last winter and have gotten so much stronger! Good luck!
  • Oh Annie!!  {{{HUGS}}}}  I just read your blog, too.  Now seeing your note here has me in tears.  I am so sorry you are going through this, but I hope it is what Jax needs to finally get well and come home forever.

As pp mentioned, you have been an inspiration to me from the beginning.  First your many LONG weeks on bedrest and in the hospital and now your strength as you are taking care of your boys amazes me.

Please take care of yourself and know that you & your family are in my thoughts and prayers!!

  • oh you just brought tears to my eyes. please keep us posted and lots and lots of prayers and speedy recovery for Jax. hopefully someone will figure it out soon!!!!! big big hugs.
  • Oh no! I'm crying for you and your family, big tears streaming down my face. You've already been through so much. Please do what you can to take care of yourself. Please keep us posted on the little guy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the pump will help him gain the little bit of weight he needs to get this reflux under control.
  • I'm so sorry, this must be so heartbreaking. You are an amazing mother that stops at nothing to get the best for her sons which is truly inspiring to the rest of us.  Sounds like Jaxon is in great hands and hopefully he'll turn a corner before you know it.
  • I am so sorry. Sending you hugs and a ton of prayers.?
  • I am so sorry!  But you did the right thing.
