Love it. It was my great grandmother's middle name and is on our short list for another girl.

I cocktailed in a gentleman's club throughout college and this girl's name was Naomi and used Imoan (I-moan) as her stage name.

Can't get that out of my head now. And I grew up with Naomi's.

I absolutely love it. The story of Ruth is my favorite in the Bible. Naomi was a lovely lady and that's what comes to mind when I see this name. I really like it a lot. It's not seen very often, either and that's a shame.

It was my first choice and DH vetoed it two times with both of our girls!  LOVE it, and so nice that it's not overused.

I've always loved it, but my husband always, without fail says "it's 'I moan" backwards" when I bring it up. Unfortunate.

I like it. My husband is big on Old Testament names for girls and Naomi is one I can live with (he adores Ruth, which is NMS).
