If your LO was circumcised come in

So LO was circumcised after he got out of the nicu at about 2 weeks. At his 4 week check up his pedi looked at it and didnt say anything so we assumed it was fine, it had always looked normal. Just now, DH and I were giving LO a bath and the tip of his penis looked blue. Like it was bruised. Im thinking this is not normal. Is it not getting blood flow or something? The Dr. office is closed. Did this happen to anyone else? He will be 6 weeks Saturday.

Our LO's has never been blue.. it has been dark red.  Sorry I'm not much help!

Ty's has always been red too. Im not sure if I should call the advice nurse, take him to urgent care, am I overreacting?

How blue are you talking, like bruised type of blue or pinkish but a blue tinge? Our LO's has been slightly bluish at times randomly and I think it is just blood flow to that area, but for the most part its pink.

It was blue and purple like a bruise. Someone on the 0-3 board said he couldve been cold. We were giving him a bath at the time. I checked again and it has returned to normal. More of a pink with a tinge of blue. That was really weird. I am going to keep an eye on it, but for now it looks like it did before.

DS does this sometimes too but it always goes back to normal.

I never thought anything of it so I never asked though but it is definitely like a blueish purple, bruise color and it is just the head. I am not really concerned about it.

DS does this as well, and I've noticed it about a split second before I'm peed on.. So, the blood flow theory could have merit here. I also noticed DS's boner the other day too.. Again, about a split second before I was peed on. lol

when I give LO a bath his turns blueish too...it's blood flow. It returns normal after.
